Reason # 47,893 to Nurse a Toddler

Because you have spent weeks cooped up in the house (snow), and today’s the day that all the “hats” that you wear (mother, writer, house cleaner/organizer, lactation consultant) all seriously need your attention RIGHT NOW, and the baby was up for several hours last night (canines, one more to go), and you and he are both seriously cranky, and you have been working on all the things all morning and he misses you.  So.  There is this.  Heart to heart.  Breathing.  Oxytocin city!  Love.

And then — didn’t you know this would happen? — there’s this.

If that isn’t a good enough reason to nurse a toddler, I don’t know what is 🙂
